The music of Craig Ó Mathúna has been described as at once familiar and yet hard to quite put a finger on. Eclectic. Firmly rooted in rock, with, at times, elements of Irish folk and flamenco-fusion, off-beat rhythms and syncopation combine with exploratory often unexpected chord progressions. Craig’s lyrics are at once personal, sometimes cryptic, but always with an underlying universality. Often described as music for musicians, or more accurately music for music lovers, and that’s perfectly fine with him.

With two studio albums to her credit Polly Barrett is no stranger to the creative process of writing and recording albums. However, it took the birth of her son and her rebirth as an artist for Polly to find her authentic truth. Recorded in her home in West Cork Sapling be… is fully dedicated to her son who came up with name itself as he strummed the guitar as a toddler. Saturated in Polly’s new home life the record is imbued with her struggles as writer’s block got its angry claws into her and the ethereal, meditative peace she found and made for herself in West Cork as she navigates the path of motherhood.

Comfy Concerts - an idea originally born from the frustration of performing music in loud environments.... I wanted to create a space where music can really be heard and therefore work its magic without distractions, where people don't have to wonder how to behave and react to it. Comfy Concerts is aiming to be exactly that, ambient relaxed environment, soft light, candles, mats, sheepskins and blankets, where you can curl up and be comfortable and relax for an hour or so, daydream, snooze, plan your next novel, whatever, anything! Add one woman and her cello, loop pedals and a bit of voice at times - and improvised music will be born on the night. Based in West Cork, Ireland.
Brought to you by Lea Miklody, a Hungarian born musician and market gardener. Lea Miklody is a Hungarian born musician and market gardener based in West Cork. With cello, voice, and loop station she creates experimental and ambient instrumental soundscapes that bring listeners to a quiet space of inner journey and connection. Layer upon layer of bowed, plucked, and strummed cello loops weave seamlessly, ebbing and flowing from near-symphonic force to delicate stillness, only to be further enhanced by Lea's evocative singing. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jNLP7-8BJoQ www.soundcloud.com/comfyconcerts

Having previously supported acts such as Hudson Taylor, Hermitage Green, Paddy Casey, Declan O'Rourke, Mark Geary, I Draw Slow; Keith recently opened for a sold out Hothouse Flowers show in Mayo's TF Royal's Ruby Rooms. Performing songs that contain different styles of acoustic fingerpicking, played percussively - lays the foundation for the lyrics to tell stories of love, death and life. Often accompanied by the roaring waves of cellist Maeve Kelly and the tasteful ticking acoustics of Shane Smith.
The live set and songs can be described as alternative folk with influence from both classic and contemporary songwriters and guitar players. A sound that offers a rich blend of acoustic instruments with elements of Irish melody and storytelling, blues and folk. Keith had tracks aired repeatedly on Today FM and Beat 102-103 in 2017 but has since taken a step back from his college-pop sound and engulfed in a love for all things acoustic and organic sounding.

Bog Bodies : Bog Bodies are a heavy folk outfit from Tipperary, formed by Irish songwriter Dan Maher. Their genre-bending, high-energy folk sound is somewhere between Christy Moore, Kíla and Rage Against The Machine with a dash of psychedelia for good measure.
Bog Bodies alt folk sound has been gripping audiences across Ireland from Uisneach Fire Fest, Doolin Folk Festival, Stendhall Festival, Live Stock Festival to a sold out show at TempleBar TradFest earlier in the year.
Bog Bodies’ songs are charged from the ancient megalithic sites and are often political, ethereal and Celtic in theme.

Caoivín (pronounced "kwee-veen") is a producer, singer and multi-instrumentalist forging a soulful new Gaelic sound. Born into a musical family, he began playing traditional Irish music at the tender age of 5 and spent the majority of his early childhood summers travelling to and from various different fleadhs and music weeks. In his late teens and early twenties, he began to develop an interest in a wide variety of other genres outside of the traditional music realm which led him to discover most notably electronic dance music and its many forms.
The unique sound of Caoivín takes influence from the range of musical styles which the musician has been exploring from that point up until now, while being rooted at the same time to the long unbroken lineage of tradition on which he was reared.
