Mamacha and the Forest of Sound

Mamacha (from the Bolivian word for woman) celebrates the creative and healing force of feminine energy through positive music. Formed in 2021 in West Cork, they have been working on a diverse line up of styles and instrumentation, with influences from across the globe.

They are: Kate Liddell (UK) on five stringed fiddle, flugelhorn and vocals, Mira Geluk (Ireland) on vocals, guitar, ngoni and percussion, Armando Ramírez (Mexico) on charango, percussion and bass, Lea Miklody (Hungary) on cello & loop pedal and David Kelly (Ireland) on bodhran & drum kit.
